Description

Movie of colchicine-induced depolymerization of the metaphase spindle in a Drosophila S2 cell expressing GFP-tubulin. Images were recorded at 120 sec intervals using a spinning disc confocal microscope on a Nikon TE-200 stand with a 100x 1.4 NA Plan APO DIC objective lens and recorded with a Hamamatsu Orca-ER CCD. See Supplemental Video 3 in Maresca and Salmon, 2009 J Cell Biol 184:373-281.
