Description

Higher resolution image of the area that shows the clathrin-coated cage near the peniculus and clathrin coated preendosomal and partially coated preendosomal vesicles. Early endosomes like the preendosomal vesicles have smooth E-fracture faces with few IMPs. TEM taken on 7/19/88 by C. Schroeder with Zeiss 10A operating at 80kV. Neg. 31,500X. Adapted with permission from the J. Cell Sci. The raw film was scanned with an Epson Perfection V750 Pro. Additional information available at (http://www5.pbrc.hawaii.edu/allen/).
