Description

Time lapse movie of a porcine kidney LLCPK1 cell stably expressing GFP-alpha tubulin. The movie shows mictotubule elongation toward the cell cortex following anaphase onset followed by resumption of dynamic instability. A time lapse movie created from the series is grouped with it.

Technical Details

Cells were imaged using a Nikon Eclipse TE300 microscope with 100x phase NA 1.4 objective lens and spinning disk confocal head (Perkin Elmer) and images ca ptured with a MicroMax cooled CCD camera. Images were captured every 2 sec and are displayed at 7.5 frames/sec. See also:N Rusan and P Wadsworth 2005.
