Description

Single tilt image (zero degree tilt) of a mitochondrion from a retinal rod photoreceptor of a female mouse (C57BL/6) from a 0.3 um section. This image has been downsampled from the raw data image which can be accessed using the link provided to the Cell Centered Database. Technical Details

Single tilt tomograms were obtained using a JEOL4000EX, and spanned -60 to 60° at 2° intervals. Magnification, 40,000X, accelerating voltage, 400.0 KeV.
