Description

Transmission electron micrograph of section of cardiac muscle from guinea pig right atrium. A portion of nucleus is seen at upper right, with a centriole close to the nuclear envelope. Also seen in the cytoplasm is a portion of a mitochondrion at lower left several homogeneously atrial granules and numerous darkly staining glycogen granules. Image made available by James D. Original 3.25 in. x 4 in. lantern slides were scanned at 600dpi. Original Magnification: x40,000.
