Description

The image shows a mouse spermatocyte in meiosis immuno-labeled for two components, SYCP3 (red) and SYCP1 green) of the synaptonemal complex. The red and green signals have been offset to facilitate visualization of the coincidence of staining in all except the sex chromosomes (arrow).
