Description

Higher magnification of a QF-DE image of an acidosome with a large inward indentation of its membrane. The fractured P-face of the indentation shows many large IMPs. The acidosome lumen is honeycombed where the vitreous ice was etched away. TEM taken on 5/18/88 by C. Schroeder with Zeiss 10A operating at 80kV. Neg. 40,500X. Bar = 0.1µm. A print of the negative was scanned and processed in Photoshop. This image is best used for qualitative analysis. Additional information available at (http://www5.pbrc.hawaii.edu/allen/).
